Erik Nielsen

Erik Nielsen is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in high-level advisory and analytical roles. Currently serving as the Group Chief Economics Advisor and Global Chief Economist at UniCredit since September 2011, Nielsen has previously held pivotal positions such as Chief European Economist at Goldman Sachs and Senior Economist at The World Bank. Earlier in his career, Nielsen contributed as an Economist at the International Monetary Fund and Danmarks Nationalbank, showcasing a robust background in economic analysis since starting in 1981.
