Gennaro Gallo

Gennaro Gallo is a seasoned compliance and internal audit professional with extensive experience in financial regulations and risk management across prominent financial institutions. Currently serving as Head of Compliance - Financial Regulations Quality Assurance at UniCredit since January 2023, Gennaro develops and implements regulatory compliance assurance programs. Prior roles include Executive Director of Internal Audit at Santander Corporate & Investment Banking, Director of Compliance at Morgan Stanley, and Senior Compliance Officer at AIG, with a strong focus on compliance with key regulations such as MiFID, Market Abuse, AML, and ESG/Sustainability. Gennaro's foundational experience includes senior internal auditing at Generali and financial statement auditing at PwC. Gennaro holds an Advanced Leadership Programme certification from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from the same institution, along with degrees from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, IPE Business School, and the University of Naples ‘Parthenope’.
