Pankaj Kumar

Pankaj Kumar, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project coordination and technical expertise in renewable energy, particularly solar energy initiatives in India. Currently serving as National Project Coordinator at UNIDO since March 2016, Pankaj leads significant projects focused on eliminating hazardous chemicals from textile supply chains and promoting green economy practices. Pankaj also held roles at UNDP as Deputy Project Manager for solar water heating market transformation and at GIZ as a Technical Advisor for commercializing solar energy. Previous management experience includes a position with DCM Shriram Industries in the renewable energy sector. Pankaj's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Energy from Suresh Gyan Vihar University, an MBA, and an M.Tech in Energy Management, among other qualifications.
