Andrea Marchisio

Andrea Marchisio has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Andrea has worked for various companies in different roles throughout their career.

From 2022 to the present, Andrea has served as the CIO and Director of Information Systems at Unifarma Distribuzione SpA. In this role, they have demonstrated expertise in technological transitions, process and product re-engineering, and transforming business objectives into valuable information systems. Andrea has also managed projects, applications, software development, and vendor relationships.

Prior to their current position, Andrea worked as the IT Manager at Scarpe & Scarpe S.p.A. from 2016 to 2021. Here, they were responsible for the ICT direction of the company's headquarters, logistics center, and 140 direct retail stores across Italy. Andrea successfully reorganized processes, optimized workflows, and redesigned the IT infrastructure.

From 2013 to 2016, Andrea served as the IT Manager at Codé CRAI Ovest - CRAI Supermercati. Andrea oversaw the IT budget, coordinated a team, and managed the data centers. Andrea focused on technological solutions within the retail stores, implemented business intelligence tools, and replaced the central management system.

Earlier in their career, Andrea worked at Bacardi - Martini & Rossi S.p.A. as the Infrastructure and HelpDesk Manager from 2001 to 2013. Andrea was responsible for upgrading the hardware and software infrastructure, implementing virtualization systems, and managing the helpdesk service.

In the late 1990s, Andrea worked at Visteon as the Office Automation Supervisor in France, coordinating the migration of networking infrastructure and hardware.

Andrea also held the role of Infrastructure Manager at Visteon, overseeing hardware and software infrastructure and managing databases.

Andrea started their career as the Head of IT Support Service at ACI Informatica and later worked as the EDP Manager at Bava Riccardo S.p.A. In these roles, they focused on supporting the IT needs of the organizations and implementing system upgrades.

Andrea Marchisio has a diverse education history. In 1991, they attended Istituto Tecnico Zerboni in Torino, where they studied Tecnico delle Industrie Meccaniche. The following year, in 1992, they pursued a Diploma di Programmatore Software at Istituto Professionale Superiore, also in Torino.

In 1993, Marchisio furthered their education at Consorzio Tecfor in Torino, earning an Attestato regionale in qualità di “Tecnico di Produzione Industriale”.

Years later, in 2014, they engaged in Formazione e Sviluppo Professionale, focusing on Coaching individuale. Andrea completed this program in 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Marchisio has obtained various certifications. Andrea received the RedHat Certification RHCE from Red Hat in 2001. In the same year, they earned the Microsoft MCP 70-067, 70-073, and 70-210 certifications from Microsoft. In 2002, Marchisio obtained the VMware VCP4-DV certification through VMware. Andrea also has the Crystal Report 8.5 Advanced certification from SAP in 2003, and the ITIL V3 Foundation certification, acquired in 2010. Their most recent certification is the Spinetix Digital Signage, obtained in 2012.
