Joshua Backer

Joshua Backer has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as Founder at Teach the People from January 2007 to July 2009. Joshua then founded The Lotto in July 2007 and worked there until July 2009. In 2009, they became the Founder and COO of Social Suitcase until January 2011. From April 2011 to February 2019, they served as Co-founder, President of Advertising, and SVP Operations at Unified. Finally, they took on the position of Chief Operating Officer at Unified in February 2019, where they are currently employed.

Joshua Backer has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Literature and Art History from Emory University. Joshua also pursued a PhD in Comparative Literature at the same university but it is unknown whether they completed the program. Prior to attending Emory University, Joshua Backer attended East Brunswick High School.
