Jamil Ellis

Jamil Ellis is the Founder and CEO of Unified Ground, an organization that connects community networks to climate and social impact investments, focusing on closing the income and wealth gap in vulnerable communities. Jamil serves as an Adjunct Professor at New York University and as an Executive Board Member of the NYC Manufacturing and Industrial Innovation Council. Additionally, Jamil is a Board Member of CultureHub, facilitating networking opportunities and overseeing budget approvals. As the founder of Ellis Productions and ETC Productions LLC, Jamil has extensive experience in television and film production. Previous roles include CTO positions at Bright Power, Inc. and BlocPower, where Jamil integrated technology for services and managed product development. Jamil also held key technical roles at HBO and founded a social media startup, Splice. Educational background includes a BS in Computer Engineering from Columbia University.
