Ted Arneson has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 30 years. Ted began their career at Newark Electronics as a Technical Engineering Specialist before moving on to Ekco Products as a Design Engineer. After that, they joined Fluid Management as an Engineer, where they implemented CAD/CAE/FEA tools and generated innovative CAD designs for the paint mixing and dispensing industry.

In 1993, Ted joined Newmetrics as an Engineer, leading the industry into the age of rapid tool design, engineering, and fabrication. Ted collaborated in a multi-disciplinary environment and designed parts and molds for various applications.

In 2000, Ted joined Motorola as a Principle Staff Mechanical Engineer, leading the development of mechanical packaging for multiple mobile device programs. Ted worked closely with industrial design, marketing, electrical engineering, and manufacturing, creating patentable solutions that were implemented in the final products. Ted later became a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff at Motorola and continued their contributions until 2009.

From 2009 to 2012, Ted worked at RIM as the Manager of the Intellectual Property Committee Team. In this role, they led patent committees and developed the invention disclosure review process. Ted was regarded as a subject matter expert in portable device mechanics and user interfaces.

After their time at RIM, Ted returned to Motorola Mobility as a Mechanical Engineering consultant in 2013, where they provided their expertise until 2016. Finally, they joined Unified Information Devices in 2016 as an Operations Manager.
