Dirk Griffioen

Dirk Griffioen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and business leadership. Currently serving as CEO at Unified Streaming since 2012, Dirk focuses on strategy, business relations, and technical aspects of ABR streaming over HTTP. Previously, Dirk co-founded Codeshop, providing consultancy and software development services from 2005 to 2012. Additional roles include financial responsibilities at Object+ and contributions to audio technology at Barcelona Media, alongside architectural work for Q-go and Voipster. Dirk co-founded Abonja, pioneering an internet video distribution system, and has contributed to automatic trading at Optiver and software development at TomTom and Human Inference. Academic qualifications include studies in Classical Languages, Musicology, and Law from prominent Dutch universities.
