Albert Smets

Albert Smets is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in technology and business management, currently serving as CEO of Productline Documents and CTO at Unifiedpost Group since March 2018. Smets also holds the position of Chief Executive Officer for Platforms, Apps & Analytics and previously directed applications within the same organization. As the owner of Smets Business Solutions since January 2008, Smets has further enhanced expertise in the field. Prior roles include Director of Program Management at ABN AMRO Commercial Finance and various managerial positions at Fortis Commercial Finance. An education background features an MSc in Computer Science from Eindhoven University of Technology and multiple MBA degrees from Purdue University and TIAS School for Business and Society, complemented by leadership training at INSEAD. Smets began a career in the Dutch Green Berets, serving as a Commando Special Operations.
