Lakshman Thatai has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Lakshman co-founded Unifize in 2016 and played a key role in the company's operations. In 2019, they worked with Airbus as part of their Airbus Bizlab program and also joined Target Accelerator. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2016, they served as the Head of Food Division at TTK Foods Division - Fryums Snacks. In 2009, Lakshman worked as the General Manager of Projects - Capacity Enhancement at TTK Healthcare Limited, where they successfully executed multiple projects and collaborated with FDA for certification purposes. Before that, they held the position of President at Manttra Inc. from 2004 to 2009. Lakshman also gained experience in the financial sector as a Financial Analyst at Soloman Smith Barney / Citigroup Corporate Investment Bank from 2001 to 2002. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Co-Host of the Future of Processes Podcast, where they share insights and best practices related to processes across various industries.

Lakshman Thatai completed their education at two different institutions. From 1984 to 1997, they attended Mallya Aditi International School, where they earned their ISC degree in Science. Following that, from 1997 to 2001, they studied at Cornell University and obtained a B.S. degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Additionally, in February 2017, they obtained a certification in Introduction to Big Data from the University of California San Diego.
