Heather Walton

Heather Walton has a diverse work experience, beginning with the City of Berkeley in 2015. In this role, they were a Project Lead for the Nutrition Program, working with the City's Public Health Department and planning, organizing, and teaching nutrition, cooking, and physical activity classes. Heather then worked at the Ecology Center in Berkeley as a Program Lead, responsible for the Recycling Program and Education and Engagement program. Heather organized events in the Berkeley community to educate on recycling, plastic free initiatives and climate change. In 2015, they also took on the role of Multi Unit Manager at Proper Food, overseeing three restaurants in the financial district and managing up to 25 team members. Heather was responsible for the recruitment of three store's teams and leadership, and assisted in launching two new stores in the financial district. In 2020, Walton became a Store Manager at Amazon, supervising a team of up to 30 retail associates and 5 leads. Heather established and implemented priorities while reaching performance goals and objectives. Later that year, they became an Assistant Store Manager at Peet's Coffee, leading a team of 10 staff members during peak COVID. In 2022, Walton began their current role as Clinic Manager at Uniform Teeth, where they are a resourceful Orthodontic Clinic Manager in the busy financial district. Heather has a focus on developing high standards of practice evaluating patient care for effectiveness and implementing necessary changes to programs and policies.

Heather Walton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from California State University - East Bay, as well as an Associate of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Berkeley City College.
