Işıl Ökten

Işıl Ökten began their work experience at White & Case, where they worked as a Partner and Head of Banking and Finance from 2000 to 2009. Işıl then moved on to Akbank, where they served as a Senior Legal Counsel from 2009 to 2012. Following this, they joined DLA Piper as a Partner and Head of Finance & Projects from 2012 to 2016. Işıl then joined Ak Law Firm as a Partner from 2016 to 2023. Currently, they are the Chief Legal Counsel at Unifree Duty Free since 2023.

Işıl Ökten obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Istanbul University between 1992 and 1996. Işıl then pursued a Master's Degree in LL.M. at Istanbul University from 1997 to 2000. In addition, they also completed another Master's Degree in LL.M. at The University of Alabama from 1999 to 2000. Prior to their higher education, they attended Tarsus American College for their high school education from 1986 to 1992.
