Bruis van Vlijmen

Bruis van Vlijmen is an accomplished technology executive and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the battery technology and climate sectors. As the CTO and Co-Founder of Good Heat since August 2025, Bruis is dedicated to advancing sustainable energy solutions. Simultaneously serving as a Venture Partner at Transition, which supports Seed and Series A founders in climate initiatives, Bruis also advises UNIGRID Battery following a Series A investment. Previous roles include Commercialisation Manager and Lead at Calix Limited, where efforts focused on developing sustainable battery materials, and a Battery Data Analytics Research Engineer at Stanford University, contributing to machine learning strategies for lithium-ion battery systems. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree from Delft University of Technology, supplemented by diverse international academic experiences.
