Ben Szutor

Ben Szutor is a seasoned professional in the field of applied photonics and laser technology, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and Head of R&D at Skylark Lasers since September 2018. With a robust background in research and development, Ben has led numerous laser development projects and contributed as a Research Engineer at both Skylark Lasers and the Centre for Doctoral Training in Applied Photonics. Educational credentials include an Engineering Doctorate in Applied Photonics, an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with Management from The University of Edinburgh, complemented by various engineering internships and roles at organizations such as Kaiam Corporation and KPMG.
