David Candela Lopez

David Candela Lopez has a diverse work experience in the field of procurement. David started their career as an Inspector at ATISAE in 2000 and then worked as an Adjunto a Director Técnico at Válvulas Arco S.L., where they were responsible for laboratory tasks. David then joined ELECNOR as a Técnico de Compras, where they focused on supplier selection and analysis of offers. Later, they worked at Cegelec as a Técnico de Compras, responsible for receiving and negotiating offers, and as a Director de Compras, where they managed a team and formulated strategic plans. After that, they worked at IMTECH SPAIN as a Jefe de compras Industria, where they were involved in strategic planning, negotiation, and team management. David then joined PERI S.A.U. as a Responsable de Compras, where they continued their procurement responsibilities. Currently, they hold the position of HEAD OF PROCUREMENT at Unilabs, where they oversee the procurement activities.

David Candela Lopez has a diverse education history. David began their studies at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from 1997 to 2000, where they earned a degree in Industrial Engineering. In 1999, they also studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of South Wales. Later, in 2005, they pursued a postgraduate degree in Purchasing Management at ADL - FORD. In 2007, they completed another postgraduate program, this time in Project Management, at Comillas Pontifical University. David further expanded their knowledge in the field by undertaking a postgraduate program in Project Management at CESMA in 2010. Finally, in 2014-2015, they specialized in Logistics Management, Materials Management, and Supply Chain Management at the fundacion icil, earning a Master's degree in Purchasing and International Trade.
