Malika Bensellam-Bouhtala

Malika Bensellam-Bouhtala has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Malika is currently the Head of Financial Control & Accounting at Unilabs, a position they have held since October 2023. Prior to this, they founded their own accounting firm called Zijn in December 2022.

From January 2020, Malika served as a Board Member for the General Board at the Nederlandse Beroepsorganisatie van Accountants (NBA), and from November 2018, they were also a Board Member for the Accountants in Business division of the same organization.

Before their entrepreneurial venture, Malika worked as a Manager Finance at BPD Gebiedsontwikkeling from August 2019 to December 2022. Malika also gained experience as a Risk Manager at Translink (Trans Link Systems bv) from June 2018 to May 2019, and as a Senior Policy Officer at Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit (NZa) from April 2013 to June 2018.

Malika's previous roles include Senior Policy Advisor at Yacht, Assistant Manager at KPMG Nederland, Senior Staff at Deloitte Nederland, and Sector Advisor at the Koninklijk Nederlands Meteorologisch Instituut (KNMI). Malika held these positions between 2011 and 2013.

Malika Bensellam-Bouhtala completed their education in the field of accountancy. Malika began their studies at ROC Midden Nederland from 2001 to 2003, specializing in administration. Malika then pursued a Bachelor's degree in accountancy at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht from 2003 to 2006. Afterwards, they attended Nyenrode Business University for their MSc/Post-Master degree in accountancy, completing their studies from 2006 to 2012. Finally, they received the RA (Registered Accountant) qualification from the Koninklijke Nederlandse Beroepsorganisatie van Accountants in 2018.
