Alba Fuga

Alba Fuga currently serves as the GIS solution lead at EDF Renouvelables, where responsibilities include managing the company's GIS platform and overseeing its maintenance and enhancements with a dedicated team. Additionally, Alba is a university lecturer at UniLaSalle, teaching Geographic Information Systems within a scientific master's program focused on Urban Agriculture and Green Cities, and previously held a similar role at POLIS University in Albania, lecturing on GIS applied to urban planning. Prior experience includes positions as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at CGG, specializing in subsurface imaging applications and seismic processing, as well as involvement in data management software industrialization and expert system development at Total. Alba holds a PhD in Geomatics from Pierre and Marie Curie University and an engineering degree in Computer Science applied to Geographic Information Systems from Ecole Nationale des Sciences Géo.
