Bagus Kusuma

Bagus Kusuma is a seasoned professional in sustainability and environmental management, currently serving as the Global Sustainable Sourcing Manager and People and Nature Implementation Manager at Unilever since July 2022. Bagus oversees Unilever’s commitment to achieving a deforestation-free supply chain by 2023, focusing on compliance across five key commodities. Prior experience includes serving as the Senior Engagement Manager for Palm Oil at WWF, leading a major scorecard initiative assessing over 200 companies for sustainability compliance, and managing climate-related projects at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Jakarta. Additional roles include Project Officer at UNDP, where Bagus managed Global Environment Facility-funded projects, and Senior Forest Campaigner at Greenpeace Southeast Asia, advocating for sustainable practices in the forestry and palm oil sectors.
