Ellen Hamilton

Ellen Hamilton is a seasoned data and technology leader currently serving as the Head of Data & Analytics for the Health and Wellbeing Global Business Unit at Unilever since January 2022, where responsibilities include developing a comprehensive Data & Analytics capability for six acquired operating companies. Prior to Unilever, Ellen held the position of Vice President of Data and Technology at SmartyPants Vitamins from August 2020 to January 2022, focusing on establishing a data-driven operating model and culture. Ellen's extensive experience also includes a notable tenure at the National Security Agency from January 1986 to June 1997, where roles ranged from Senior Computer Scientist assisting the CIO to Project Manager and Developer, addressing IT challenges and managing multi-government projects. Educational credentials comprise a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
