Salla Laine

Salla Laine is currently the Head of R&D IVD Chemistry at Uniogen, where responsibilities include overseeing, planning, and communicating the product development portfolio. Prior to this role, Salla served as a Project Manager at both Abacus Diagnostica and Aurexel Lifesciences, with experience in scientific writing, project management, and marketing support. Salla also held the position of Acting CEO at the University of Turku while completing a PhD focused on microRNAs in bone and cartilage cell differentiation. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology, an MSc in Health Biosciences, an MBA in International Business Management, and a BEng in Biotechnology, all from recognized institutions in Turku, Finland.
