Atul Malik

Atul Malik is the current Chairman at Union Bank of Colombo, and they have held this position since September 2017. Prior to this, Malik was an Advisor at General Atlantic from April 2015 to September 2017. Atul was also the CEO of Maritime Bank from March 2012 to April 2015, and before that, they were a Senior Advisor at Asia Capital & Advisors from November 2011 to March 2012. Malik began their career at Deutsche Bank in October 2007, where they worked their way up to Regional CEO Asia Pacific Retail and Business Banking before leaving in July 2011 to join Citi. At Citi, Malik worked their way up to CEO of Citibank Hong Kong, a position they held from February 2004 to September 2007.

Atul Malik holds a Master of Business Administration from Rice University and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay.
