Janaka Edirisinghe

Janaka Edirisinghe has extensive work experience in the banking sector. Janaka started their career in 1998 as an Executive Officer at Seylan Bank PLC, where they worked until 2011. Janaka then joined Union Bank of Colombo as a Manager in the Agriculture & Microfinance department. Over the years, they progressed to the roles of Senior Manager in Development Financing & Portfolio Monitoring and Senior Manager in Development Financing & Business Revival/Rehabilitation. Currently, Janaka holds the position of Chief Manager in the same department at Union Bank of Colombo.

Janaka Edirisinghe completed their education in a chronological manner with the following degrees:

- Diploma in Banking & Finance (AIB) from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka, completed in 2015.

- Diploma in Credit Management (AICM) from the Institute of Credit Management of Sri Lanka, completed in 2009.

- DPS (Agri-biz Mgt.) in Agri-biz Management from Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, completed from 2003 to 2005.
