Melody Warzecha began their work experience in 1992 as the Controller & Assistant Treasurer at PVS Chemicals, where they managed office personnel and worked to create efficiencies. From 1996 to 1998, they served as the Regional Controller at Waste Management, where they reviewed and analyzed closings for regional sites. Melody later worked as a Consultant at Waste Management in 1999, engaging in accounting services and leading major clean-ups of accounting units. In 2000, Warzecha joined Fifth Third Bank as a Vice President Commercial Relationship Manager and was swiftly promoted to Vice President of Commercial Banking. Melody worked with commercial clients with revenues ranging from $20-$500 million. In 2015, they joined Union Bank of Michigan as the Vice President of Commercial Banking.

Melody Warzecha completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Michigan in the years 1989 to 1992. Melody then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Central Michigan University between 2003 and 2005. Melody also attended Davison High School from 1984 to 1988. Additionally, they participated in Leadership Grand Traverse, although the start and end years of this program are not provided.
