John Burns

Before joining Union Bank, Mr. Burns was a Founder of Union Bank & Trust and served as its President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Credit Officer. Prior to that, he spent 10 plus years with BB&T in various capacities including Commercial Loan Officer, City Executive and Area Executive. He has been very active in community affairs throughout his career … serving in many leadership capacities. Mr. Burns is a 1990 graduate of the ECU School of Business and a 2005 graduate of the LSU Graduate School of Banking in Baton Rouge.
