Steve Cooper

Steve Cooper has a strong background in performance analysis, with experience working for several rugby organizations. Steve started their career as a Support Performance Analyst at PGIR Ltd, where they gained valuable experience collecting data and learning various aspects of analysis in Rugby Union. In 2014, they joined Insight-Analysis as a Performance Analyst, contributing to the analysis team within the International Player Development Pathway. During their time there, they worked with the England U20 age group, gaining experience in tournaments such as the U20 Six Nations and World U20 Championships. In 2018, Steve became the Head of Performance Analysis at Union Bordeaux Bègles, where they currently hold the position.

Steve Cooper completed their education with a Master's Degree in Sport Science from Nottingham Trent University between 2012 and 2014.
