Mónica Pinta López

Mónica Pinta López is a qualified mining engineer with extensive experience in the mining sector, currently serving as Supervisor de Minas and Asistente de Gerencia Materias Primas at UNION CEMENTERA NACIONAL S.A since December 2021. Mónica has worked as an Ingeniera de Minas in an autonomous capacity since June 2018, and previously gained valuable experience as a Tesista at EXPLOCOMP, where an analysis of stability of slopes at the Tanlahua quarry was conducted. Additionally, Mónica completed internships at SolGold Plc and Sociedad Minera Epifania, where tasks included subsurface topography and geomechanical characterization. Mónica began their career with an internship at Elipe S.A. in 2016, focusing on supervision and topography. Educational background includes a degree in Ingeniería de Minas from Universidad Central del Ecuador, achieved between 2011 and 2019.
