Chris Valuckas earned a Bachelor's degree in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from California State University - East Bay between 1993 and 1996 and has a secondary education background from California State University, Northridge, and Enrico Fermi High School.

Our goal is to provide excellent public service and safety to everyone who lives, works, or plays in Union City. We think this is an awesome place to live, but not just because we're centrally located just minutes away from SF and Silicon Valley, or because of our ubiquitous public transit opportunities, or even because of our gorgeous weather throughout the year. Every single one of our residential neighborhoods is within a 10-minute walk of a public park or tot lot. We're also close to a number of regional and state parks. We have three farmers' markets and a city-managed community garden, TONS of ethnic restaurants and markets, and so many opportunities for growth.
