Jared Rinetti

Jared Rinetti serves as the Chief of Police for the City of Union City since October 2012, overseeing patrol, law enforcement, investigations, and community services while developing departmental goals and policies. Previously, Jared held various positions within the same organization, including Commander/Captain, Detective Sergeant, Records and Communications Sergeant, Patrol Sergeant, and Community Oriented Police Officer, demonstrating a consistent progression in leadership roles. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Law Enforcement and Public Safety Leadership from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from California State University - East Bay.
