Mario Vallejo serves as the Director Of Information Technology and Chief Technology Officer for the City of Union City, overseeing a comprehensive technology program and operations for city departments since September 2017. Previously, Mario held the role of IT Manager at Verizon, where responsibilities included managing a team for Video Services, integrating backend systems, and developing a robust IPTV video infrastructure. Mario's earlier experience includes various managerial positions at Intel Corporation, including System Integration Engineering Manager and IT Network Operations Manager, where leadership was provided for large-scale IT projects and operations. Mario holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix.

Our goal is to provide excellent public service and safety to everyone who lives, works, or plays in Union City.
