Olivia Soliman

Olivia Soliman currently serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Analytical Chemistry at Union College since September 2023. In addition to this role, Olivia has been an editor for the Evolution in Polymer Technology Journal (EPTJ) since November 2021. Previous experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest from August 2020 to August 2023, focusing on the BioICEP project related to bio-inspired technologies. Olivia also lectured in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Heliopolis University for one year and worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The American University in Cairo, where projects included developing nanocomposites from waste materials. Earlier positions include a Teacher Assistant at Heliopolis University for Sustainable Development and a Research Assistant at Nile University, specializing in nanotechnology applications. Olivia holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Cairo University and multiple degrees in related fields, including a Master’s in Nanotechnology.
