Bill Cotton

Bill Cotton has extensive work experience in the banking and finance industry. Bill currently holds the position of Northern Regional President at Unico Bank since August 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Vice President at Unico Bank from March 2018 to August 2021. Before joining Unico Bank, Bill worked at First State Community Bank as the Executive Market Business Manager/ Vice President from January 2016 to March 2018. Bill also held the position of Vice President at First State Community Bank from June 2007 to January 2016. Earlier in their career, Bill worked as a Mortgage Consultant at Authority Mortgage from January 2006 to February 2007. Bill began their professional journey as an Auditor at United Way of Greater St. Louis in August 2005.

Bill Cotton completed their Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies at East Mississippi Community College from 2000 to 2002. Bill then attended the University of Mississippi from 2002 to 2005 and obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Banking & Finance. In 2009 to 2011, they attended the Barret School of Banking, where they studied Banking. Lastly, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree specializing in Finance and Financial Management Services at the University of Tennessee at Martin from 2015 to 2017.
