Gregory Miller has extensive experience in the software industry, starting with their role as a Teaching Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from August 1998 to June 2000. Gregory then worked as a Web Developer at flirt.com from June 2000 to January 2002, where they maintained and developed the Perl backend and frontend for the site.
In 2001, Gregory joined CA Technologies as a Software Engineer, where they worked until April 2008. During this time, they served as a Senior Software Engineer and later as a Principal Software Engineer. Their responsibilities included developing a mobile security product, written in Java and Objective C, and a "big data" management product, written in Java, that managed instances of Apache Hadoop, Cloudera, Horton Works, Cassandra, and MongoDB clusters.
From April 2015 to June 2019, Gregory worked at Teledata Communications, Inc. as a Principal Software Architect and later as the Chief Software Engineering Officer. Gregory then joined MeridianLink in February 2021 as a Principal Software Engineer until August 2021.
Most recently, Gregory was a Senior Software Architect at VirtualZ Computing from August 2021 to March 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Software Architect at Union Credit, starting in March 2023.
Gregory Miller received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Later on, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering. Miller completed their master's degree program between 2011 and 2015.
