Ghalia Chahine

Ghalia Chahine is currently a member of the board at the Institut de recherche et de développement en agroenvironnement and serves as the environmental coordinator at L’Union des producteurs agricoles. Previous experience includes roles as a regional coordinator for the Montreal food system and as a consultant for the agricultural development plan at MRC de l'Assomption. Ghalia has also been involved with various organizations, including Récolte Collectif and Santropol Roulant, often in leadership and advisory capacities. With a Doctorate in agricultural peri-urbanism from the Université de Montréal, Ghalia has an extensive educational background, including a Master's in urban planning and a Bachelor's in history.
