Jean-François Gendron

Jean-François Gendron is a seasoned professional in land use planning and environmental management, currently serving as a Conseiller en aménagement du territoire at L’Union des producteurs agricoles since June 2021, where responsibilities include analyzing municipal regulations and supporting local unions with land use policy. Previous experience includes roles as an Administrator at Éco-Nature, an Environmental/Land Use Planner and GIS Professional at the MRC de Deux-Montagnes, and various positions at McGill University, Environment Canada, and the Ministère de l'Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l'Alimentation du Québec, contributing to projects related to environmental characterization, geospatial data analysis, and policy implementation. Jean-François holds a Master’s of Science in Geography from McGill University and a Bachelor's of Science in Applied Environmental Geomatics from Université de Sherbrooke.
