Vanessa Desrosiers

Vanessa Desrosiers is a seasoned professional in agricultural research and policy, currently serving as a Conseillère en recherches et politiques agricoles at L’Union des producteurs agricoles (UPA) since May 2019. In this role, Vanessa monitors economic trends and agricultural policies, conducts economic analyses, and produces reports and publications. Prior to this, Vanessa was an Enseignante en gestion d'entreprise agricole at Cégep de Lanaudière from September 2019 to June 2022, where responsibilities included developing educational plans and supporting students. Vanessa's experience also includes serving as Vice-présidente for both the Union étudiante du Québec and CADEUL, where strategic planning and financial management were key duties. Earlier roles include Adjointe de recherche at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and Technicienne en santé animale, showcasing a diverse background in both agriculture and animal health. Vanessa holds multiple degrees from Université Laval, Collège Laflèche, and Cégep régional de Lanaudière à l'Assomption, including studies in animal health and legal techniques.
