Andy Bennett is an experienced coffee professional currently serving as a Coffee Roaster at Union Hand-Roasted Coffee since February 2021, where responsibilities include roasting on Probat, Loring, and Giesen roasters, as well as conducting profiling and daily cuppings with the quality control team. Prior to this role, Andy held various positions at Union Hand-Roasted Coffee, including Key Account Executive and Senior Trainer, with a focus on customer relations and training in the contract catering sector. Previous experience includes a position as Head of Coffee and Training at Department Of Coffee and Social Affairs, where Andy progressed from Barista to Lead Barista and ultimately to Head of Coffee and Training across multiple locations. Andy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Northumbria University, obtained from 2002 to 2005.

Each of our coffees is hand-picked and hand-roasted in East London by our team of enthusiastic coffee experts. We source our coffee direct from farmers, who we work with long term to improve both the quality of the coffee and livelihoods.
