Tom Hyde has a diverse work experience in the coffee and wine industry. Tom started their career as a Trainee Manager at Majestic Wine in 2009 and later worked as a Wine Manager at Valvona & Crolla in 2010. Tom then joined Harvey Nichols as a Wine Shop Manager from 2010 to 2012. In 2011, Tom co-founded Brew Lab Coffee. Currently, they serve as the Head of Business Transformation at Union Hand-Roasted Coffee, a position they have held since December 2021. Tom also previously worked as the Head of Hospitality at Union Hand-Roasted Coffee from 2018 to 2022.
Tom Hyde completed their undergraduate education at The University of Edinburgh from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained an MA (Hons) degree in Economics and Politics. In 2010, they pursued further education at the WSET (Wines and Spirits Education Trust), achieving an advanced degree with distinction.
