Scott Gerson

Scott Gerson, LMSW, currently serves as a Clinical Social Worker at Union Health Center, providing psychotherapy to union workers and their families since June 2023. Previously, Gerson completed a clinical internship at New York University’s Student Health Center and worked as a Crisis Counselor for Vibrant Emotional Health, conducting crisis counseling for National Suicide Prevention Lifeline callers. Gerson has diverse experience, including roles as a Global Youth Engagement Specialist with Special Olympics, a Weekly Columnist for The Good Men Project, and teaching students with emotional and behavioral disabilities as a Paraprofessional with Evanston/Skokie School District 65. Gerson also held positions such as Administrative Assistant at Northwestern University and Director of PALS Programs, which support young adults with Down syndrome. Academic credentials include a Master of Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Psychological Services from Northwestern University.
