Norman Welsh

Norman Welsh has extensive experience in journalism and editing, currently serving as the Web Editor for The Union Leader since January 2010, where responsibilities include content management, audience engagement, and website feature development. In addition, Welsh has been a Copy Editor at Manchester Union Leader since February 1988, overseeing story and photo selection, editing, and placement across various sections of the newspaper. Previously, Welsh worked as Copy Desk Chief at The Register in Shrewsbury, NJ, where responsibilities included supervising the copy desk and ensuring timely production of the daily newspaper. Welsh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Boston College, obtained between 1977 and 1981.
