Neil Wacek

Neil Wacek is a seasoned software architect at Union Mutual, with a career spanning over two decades that includes roles as an Online Communication and Agency Interface Specialist, Senior Developer, and Programmer Analyst since April 2000. Wacek contributes to the University of Vermont as the Pep Band Director, overseeing ensemble management and budget responsibilities since August 2009. As a professional musician since 2001, Wacek has performed as a bass/baritone soloist in numerous prestigious engagements, including Beethoven’s “Ninth Symphony” and Brahms’ “Requiem.” Wacek's experience also includes serving as a camp counselor at the Mount Norris Scout Reservation and internships in policy processing at Union Mutual and website design at the University of Vermont. Wacek holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of Vermont, earned between 1997 and 2008.
