Jessica Dunn

Jessica Dunn, PhD, is a Senior Analyst specializing in lithium-ion battery sustainability at the Union of Concerned Scientists since April 2022. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Energy Systems from the University of California, Davis, obtained in 2022, Jessica has focused on recycling and reuse potential for electric vehicle batteries, contributing to California's recycling policy development. Prior experience includes roles as an Environmental Markets Analyst at 3Degrees Group, Inc., and as an Energy Fellow at The Breakthrough Institute, among others. Jessica holds a Master of Science in Economics and Policy of the Environment and Energy from UCL and a Bachelor's degree in Business Sustainability and Economics from Western Washington University.
