Daniel Leonard, CPA, is currently the Manager of Finance and Accounting at Union Power Cooperative, a position held since November 2025. Prior to this role, Daniel served as Chief Financial Officer at Lumbee River EMC from February 2023 to October 2025. Daniel’s career in accounting also includes experience as Audit Manager and Senior Accountant at S. Preston Douglas & Associates, LLP, from May 2018 to January 2023, as well as earlier roles as a Staff Auditor and Intern.
