Kayla Bean

Kayla Bean, CPA, CRCM, currently serves as the VP - Director of Internal Audit at Union State Bank in Kansas/Oklahoma since December 2023. Prior to this role, Kayla accumulated extensive experience at Allen, Gibbs & Houlik, L.C. from January 2016 to December 2023, advancing from Tax Intern to Supervisor, Assurance Services, and ultimately to Senior Manager in Assurance Services. Earlier positions included internships at Allen, Gibbs & Houlik, L.C. and DeMaranville & Associate CPAs, where responsibilities included the preparation of individual income tax returns, QuickBooks accounting, and client consults. Kayla holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Emporia State University, earned between 2012 and 2015.
