LeAnn Smith is currently the Director of STEM Programming & Outreach at Union Station Kansas City since July 2016. Previously, LeAnn held positions such as the Executive Director at Science Pioneers, Inc. from January 2014 to June 2016, and the Executive Director at Medical Missions Foundation from July 2012 to December 2013. LeAnn also served as the Chief Operating Officer at Smiles Change Lives from 2005 to June 2012. With a background in business finance, LeAnn has been actively involved in various nonprofit organizations, including being a Board Chair at Associated Youth Services and a Coordinating Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. In addition to their professional experience, LeAnn holds a BS in Business Finance from Kansas State University and an AA in Business from Johnson County Community College.
