Jacqueline E. Lapsley

Jacqueline E. Lapsley is the President and Professor of Old Testament at Union Presbyterian Seminary, a position held since July 2023. Previously, Jacqueline served as the Dean and Vice President of Academic Affairs and Professor of Old Testament at Princeton Theological Seminary from July 1998 to July 2023. Educationally, Jacqueline earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Religion/Religious Studies from Emory University between 1994 and 1999 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature from Smith College from 1983 to 1987.
