Union Visual Effects
Dean Koonjul is a skilled Visual Effects Supervisor currently at Union Visual Effects since January 2020, previously serving as DFX Supervisor. Prior experience includes roles as Compositing Supervisor and Lead Compositor at Double Negative from January 2015 to January 2020, and Compositor positions at Weta Digital, Industrial Light & Magic, Mac Guff Ligne, Partizan, Wizz, and Nvizible spanning from 2009 to 2014. Dean Koonjul also contributed to significant projects such as "Ground Zero," highlighting architectural advancements at the World Trade Centre site, and "Vivre Sur la Mer" for a high-profile competition. Academic qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Screen Arts with a focus on Animation Direction from the National Film & Television School and an HND and PDD in Animation from Arts University Bournemouth, along with foundational studies in Art and Design.
