Art Gillespie is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in autonomous vehicle technologies and product development. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Odyssey since November 2023, Art previously held multiple senior engineering management positions at Cruise, where responsibilities included overseeing autonomous vehicle remote platforms and route planning. At Voyage, Art directed the development of the "Telessist" teleoperations solution, facilitating real-time video streaming for remote vehicle operation. Art's career includes leadership roles at Udacity, Google, and Nest Labs, with noteworthy achievements such as significantly expanding engineering teams and driving product growth in competitive markets. Art holds degrees from Belmont University and Murray State University.
