Christoph Schoennagel

Christoph Schoennagel is a seasoned professional in asset portfolio strategy, currently serving as Director of Asset Portfolio Strategy at Uniper since January 2016, where a transformational strategy is being developed to enhance trust and attractiveness in equity and debt markets through ambitious climate targets. Previous roles at Uniper include Plant Manager for Kraftwerk Franken and Head of Asset Strategy, focusing on European power generation and gas storage assets. Christoph began a career at E.ON in 2006, holding positions such as Team Leader Commercial Analysis and Project Evaluation Manager. Educational qualifications include an Engineer’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin and further studies at ESMT Berlin, UC San Diego, Université de Bordeaux, and Technische Universität Darmstadt.
