Unipetrol as is a Czech Republic-based holding company engaged in the refinery sector. The Company operates through three business segments: Refinery Production, Petrochemical Production, and Retail. Through its subsidiaries, UNIPETROL as offers refinery and petroleum products (including motor fuels, oils, monomers and bituminous products), alcohols (such as isobutene or n-butanol), agrochemicals (including ammonia and urea), sorbents and composites, as well as power engineering products (inactive fly ash). It is also involved in the distribution of fuels and operation of gas stations. The Company operates its own refineries, petrochemical plants, fuel filling stations and a number of subsidiaries in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany and Austria. Its parent entity is Polski Koncern Naftowy Orlen SA, based in Poland.
