Irineu Licks Filho

Irineu Licks Filho has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Irineu is currently an Angel Investor at GVAngels, starting in 2023. Before that, they worked as the CTO & CPO at Uniplaces, starting in 2021. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer & Architect at ImVitro from 2020 to 2021.

From 2017 to 2020, they served as the CTO of VG8, where they successfully developed the backend infrastructure and API using NodeJS and the front-end using AngularJS/VueJS. Irineu also led the development and launch of a new product version and coordinated a Joint-Venture with Banrisul.

Before that, Irineu co-founded and served as the CTO of 7taps and Smartwaiter. Irineu was involved in the development of various technologies such as PHP, AngularJS, C#, and Entity Framework 6. At Smartwaiter, they were recognized as one of the 125 most innovative companies in Brazil and developed a scalable architecture used by multiple companies across the country.

Additionally, Irineu has held positions at companies such as Into - Digital Experience, Investprev Seguradora, Stefanini, and Tlantic. In these roles, they worked as a CTO Mobile, Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, Full Stack Engineer, Oracle Senior Consultant, Systems Analyst, and Oracle/C++ Developer. Irineu used various technologies such as PHP, CodeIgniter, MySQL, Rest API, JavaScript, and Oracle PL/SQL.

Irineu's experience shows a strong background in software engineering, architecture, and leadership roles. Irineu has been involved in the development of innovative products, successful partnerships, and the establishment of scalable systems.

Irineu Licks Filho completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Project Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued Computer Science at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul from 2008 to 2012. In terms of certifications, they obtained the OCA - Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate certification from Oracle in August 2011.
